DRR Prudence Asobola 2023 – 2024

DRR Prudence Asobola, a member of the Rotaract Club of Kampala Muyenga Breeze, served as the District Rotaract Representative for the 2023-2024 term under the theme “Creating Hope in the World.” Her leadership was distinguished by a steadfast commitment to impactful change, with a particular focus on the flagship project, “End Polio Now.”

Prudence’s tenure was characterized by her unwavering dedication to eradicating polio globally. She mobilized resources, raised awareness, and engaged communities in efforts to ensure every child’s right to a polio-free future. Through her leadership, Prudence galvanized Rotaractors and stakeholders alike, fostering a united front against this debilitating disease.

Beyond her advocacy for polio eradication, Prudence Asobola exemplified Rotaract’s core values of service and compassion. Her leadership not only inspired action within the district but also strengthened partnerships and collaboration with Rotary clubs and other organizations committed to global health initiatives.

DRR Francis Matovu 2022–2023

DRR Francis Matovu, a member of the Rotaract Club of Nkumba Stewards, served with distinction as the second District Rotaract Representative under the visionary theme “Imagine Rotary.” His tenure was characterized by exemplary leadership and a profound commitment to community service and development.

Francis spearheaded the flagship project, “Rotaract Helping Hands,” which mobilized Rotaractors and community members to address pressing issues like road safety, WASH in schools, and healthcare. Through this initiative, Francis galvanized volunteers to utilize their skills and talents for the betterment of society, significantly improving safety, hygiene standards, and healthcare access in local communities.

Beyond his project leadership, Francis Matovu fostered a culture of collaboration and innovation within the district. DRR Noah Nyabwana 2021–2022

DRR Noah Nyabwana, from the Rotaract Club of Mengo, served as the charter District Rotaract Representative (DRR) of our district. Under the theme “Serve the Change, Live,” Noah played a pivotal role in establishing the district’s foundational policies, guiding documents, and operational frameworks. He was instrumental in shaping the early days of our district, laying a robust foundation upon which we stand today.

Noah’s leadership was characterized by a strong dedication to developing leadership and professional skills among our members. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and personal growth, equipping Rotaractors with the tools needed to excel in their roles and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
